Payment & Cancellation Policy

This Payment & Cancellation Policy explains how ABK Creative (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles deposits, balances, cancellations, and rescheduling for all videography, photography, and creative content services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1) Booking & deposit

  • A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total project fee is required to secure your booking date.
  • The booking is not confirmed until the retainer has cleared in our account.
  • For small projects under £500, the balance may be paid on delivery (by prior agreement).

2) Balance payment

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before the scheduled shoot date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payment may result in postponement or cancellation of the booking.
  • Final edits will not be delivered until the full balance has been received.

3) Cancellation by client

  • More than 30 days before the booking: retainer retained; any additional payments refunded.
  • 8–30 days before: 75% of total fee payable (retainer counts toward this).
  • 7 days or fewer before: 100% of total fee payable.

4) Rescheduling

  • One date change is allowed if requested more than 14 days before the booking date.
  • Changes requested 14 days or fewer before the booking will incur a £75 rescheduling fee and are subject to our availability.

5) Cancellation by ABK Creative

In the unlikely event we have to cancel due to illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, all payments (including the retainer) will be refunded in full. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the client.

6) Payment methods

We accept bank transfer and other agreed payment methods. Payment details will be provided on invoices.

7) Late payments

Overdue balances may be subject to interest charges as permitted under UK law. Final content will not be released until payment is received in full.
